Jeweler Irene Lummertz may not be a professional model but the raven-haired beauty’s the perfect face for her eponymous collection of 18-karat gold baubles crafted from rare, hand-carved Brazilian gemstones.
In 2008, she opened her first Palm Beach boutique on the second floor of Via Encantada then moved downstairs two years later. Six months ago, she relocated her exquisite wares to the Esplanade and suffused the sun-dappled space with three-stone rings, multi-colored gemstone necklaces, and her signature citrine stud earrings.
In the June issue of Palm Beach Illustrated, we spoke with Lummertz about her favorite things including Champagne and how Paris is always a good idea.
